Who We Serve

Amplify serves individuals from communities historically oppressed, misunderstood or silenced.

In 2021, we amplifed the voices of survivors of sexual assault and trafficking.

In 2022, we amplifed the voices of the formerly incarcerated.

In 2023, we will amplify the voices of those touched by breast cancer.

Who do you know?

  • 1 in 2 women and almost 1 in 3 men have experienced sexual violence during their lifetime. (cdc.gov)

  • An estimated 45% of people have an immediate family member who has been incarcerated. (prisonpolicy.org)

  • 1 in 8 women have had or will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. (cancer.gov)

If you are not someone affected by one of these statistics, then you know someone who is…

Together we can bring more understanding and compassion to our world.

There are many individuals in our communities facing adversity because of who they are or what they experienced. Amplify believes learning how to speak to the triumph an individual discovers in living through adversity, can tranform feelings of isolation, shame and fear of judgment into feelings of empowerment and confidence. And in doing so, these compelling messages can bring more understanding and compassion into the greater world.

More compassion in the world.

As Amplify expands its reach, each speaker stepping forward becomes a ripple in our
growing tidal wave of voices spreading compelling and positive messages in our world.
